Contact Children's Services
Children's Services provide support to children and young people in need and their families.
If you think that a child, young person or family is in need of help, or you are looking for support, call:
Initial Response and Assessment Teams
Tel: 020 8921 3172
Monday to Thursday: 9am – 5.30pm
Fridays: 9am - 4.30pm
Emergency Duty Team (Out of office hours only)
Tel: 020 8854 8888
Monday to Thursday: after 5.30pm
Fridays: after 4.30pm
Plus weekends, bank holidays

At the hospital
Children's Services also have a Children and Families team based at the
Queen Elizabeth Hospital
who deal with referrals at the hospital itself.
They take referrals from doctors, nurses and other professionals such as midwives who are concerned about:
children brought to Accident and Emergency
patients on the children's wards
expectant mothers who are booked into the hospital to have their babies.
