Who can apply?

 
To apply for the funds you must be:

  • aged between 13 and 19 to apply for the grant (or up to 25 for those with special needs)
  • living in the London borough of Greenwich.
Your project should:

  • benefit other young people between 13 and 19
  • enable young people to gain new skills with accreditations where possible
  • be based in the London borough of Greenwich
  • be innovative and unique.
Your application must meet one or more of the Every Child Matters outcomes.

The panel will be looking for a project that:

  • genuinely comes from young people
  • includes a wide range of young people, particularly those who are marginalised or disadvantaged
  • helps and benefits the local community
  • helps young people to achieve something positive
  • is supported by an organisation with a track record of working successfully with young people
  • encourages more young people of Greenwich to take part in a new activity.
Your project application should be planned, written, monitored and evaluated by young people.

Grants can only be given to groups of young people (minimum of 2 or more young people). Grants will only be paid to an established organisation on your behalf.
