Youth Opportunities Fund
Who can apply?
To apply for the funds you must be:
aged between 13 and 19 to apply for the grant (or up to 25 for those with special needs)
living in the London borough of Greenwich.
Your project should:
benefit other young people between 13 and 19
enable young people to gain new skills with accreditations where possible
be based in the London borough of Greenwich
be innovative and unique.
Your application must meet one or more of the
Every Child Matters outcomes
.
The panel will be looking for a project that:
genuinely comes from young people
includes a wide range of young people, particularly those who are marginalised or disadvantaged
helps and benefits the local community
helps young people to achieve something positive
is supported by an organisation with a track record of working successfully with young people
encourages more young people of Greenwich to take part in a new activity.
Your project application should be planned, written, monitored and evaluated by young people.
Grants can only be given to groups of young people (minimum of 2 or more young people). Grants will only be paid to an established organisation on your behalf.
