Your application for the Youth Opportunity and/or Capital Fund needs to meet one or more of these outcomes:

Enjoy good physical and mental health and live a healthy lifestyle. Activities meeting this outcome will aim at improving young people’s health eg healthy food cookery group, drugs/sexual health information.
Stay safe
Be protected from harm and neglect and grow up able to look after yourself. Positive activities that engage young people in a safe environment.
Enjoy and achieve
Get the most out of life and develop broad skills for adulthood. Develop self-confidence and life skills, achieve success and be acknowledged for it and have a fun time. Any programme that enables young people to fulfil their potential e.g. music, sports, volunteering.
Make a positive contribution
To your peers, the local community and society including decision making in the community, setting up and running your own project etc.
Achieve economic wellbeing
Overcome socio-economic disadvantages. Reach your full potential and make the most of your lives. Gain skills that can be used in the future employment e.g. helping manage this project and keep records of the grant etc.
