What happens when a report is made
What happens once you have made a report depends on what you want to happen, and what we are able to do.
A caseworker will meet with you immediately, or within one working day, provide a support pack and agree an action plan with you. We will always discuss and agree with you before taking action or involving other agencies in your case.
Some action can be taken quickly (where appropriate and with your agreement):
Providing additional security measures for your home
Arranging for you to receive support from a specialist agency
Reporting the incident to the police
Beginning to investigate the things you have told us about
A panel meeting will be arranged to decide what further action is needed. You will be invited to the meeting, along with agencies that might help to prevent the harassment.
