Getting legal help
Police community safety units offer advice and support on domestic violence. They can also support you through a criminal case and help to enforce civil injunctions.
To contact the Greenwich Borough Police Community Safety Unit, telephone: 020 8284 9865
Community law centres can give you free legal advice on what to do if you are the victim of domestic violence. See the list on our
local law centres
page.
Solicitors can give you advice on getting an injunction through the courts. This may help to protect you and your children, and mean that you can return to your home.
You may be able to get legal aid to pay for this.
For more information see the
'Tackling Domestic Violence Resource Pack'
