Food Hygiene Award Scheme
We inspect local food businesses and add the results to our food hygiene database.
You can use this to look up your local restaurant or cafe and check whether it has good standard of hygiene and therefore been awarded a Food Hygiene Certificate.
Who has a certificate?
To check whether your local restaurant has been awarded a certificate, download our Award Scheme PDF below.
If you want to find a specific restaurant or cafe but do not know what street it is on, you can search in Adobe Acrobat. Simply open the document, press Ctrl F, type in the name and click 'Find'.
If there's no award, look at the date of inspection. If there isn't one, the place simply hasn't been inspected yet. If the date has been and gone, the premises were not up to standard.
The premises are listed alphabetically by street name.
To view this document you need Adobe Acrobat, this can be downloaded via the link on the right.
