This sentence is only available for young people aged 16-17.

It is similar to the Supervision order and can last for 12 months to 3 years. It will also involve unpaid community work that can last for 40-100 hours.

What kind of community work?

Examples of the type of activities involved are:

carpentry
conservation
decorating
working with the elderly or vulnerable.

Repairing the damage

You may also be required to:

repair the harm done by your offence to the victim or the community
attend behaviour classes such as anger management.
