Woolwich and Greenwich Town Centres and the Kingsman Parade are now alcohol free zones so anyone found drinking in an open space in these areas is likely to:

have the alcohol they are drinking confiscated by a police officer
be arrested
face a fine of up to £500

Notices indicating which streets are in an alcohol free zone are now in place.
