Community safety
There are lots of people all working to reduce crime and promote safety in Greenwich.
Our Community Safety Team works in partnership with the Metropolitan Police, London Fire Brigade and Greenwich Primary Care Trust to keep people safe in their homes and in the community, and to ensure support is always close to hand.
Using the menu on the left you can get information and advice on a variety of safety issues. You can also find out who to contact if you need support.
The Safer Greenwich Partnership
The Safer Greenwich Partnership (SGP) brings together the Council, the Metropolitan Police Service, the London Fire Brigade, the Greenwich Primary Care Trust, the Metropolitan Police Authority and Probation in order to tackle crime, anti-social behaviour and substance misuse.
Its aim is to 'make Greenwich a safer place and a place where people feel secure'.

The Greenwich InfoShare Team
The InfoShare team provides regular updates on crime trends in the borough of Greenwich. Until recently the main source of crime data has been incidents and crimes reported to the Police.
This is now being expanded to take in information given to Council departments and other agencies to provide a more complete picture of crime in the borough.
