Childcare: send us your views

Childcare: meeting your needs?

The Council is seeking the views of everyone in Greenwich who has an interest in childcare.

We are continuously assessing childcare services in the borough.

About our childcare assessment

The Childcare Act 2006 requires us to conduct a Childcare Sufficiency Assessment.

The purpose of the assessment is to consider whether there is enough childcare to support local parents and carers who are in training or employment.

We've produced a Childcare Sufficiency Assessment (pdf 235k) and we welcome your comments on this document.

Have your say

We need ongoing feedback from:

  • children and young people
  • parents and carers
  • childcare providers
  • employers.

Questions to consider

We are happy to accept any views on childcare in Greenwich, but it may help you to consider the following questions:

  • What are the main childcare issues that you want the Council to consider in the future?
  • Are there issues we missed in our assessment?
  • What are your views on childcare in your area?

How to send us your views
