Greenwich Register Office is now able to offer Naming Ceremonies. A Naming Ceremony welcomes a new baby into the family, or celebrates the formation of a family by embracing step-children or an adopted child.
Each ceremony is tailored to meet your exact requirements and can include non-religious readings or poems. No religious words, music or readings can be included.
You can announce the names that you have chosen for your child, together with the reason for your choices. Family members and friends can make promises to support your child or children into adulthood.
You are presented with a commemorative certificate at the end of the ceremony.
