Cemetery visitors guide
Visitors are welcome to all cemeteries in Greenwich. The following information will be helpful if you are planning to visit.
Cemetery locations
There are
five cemeteries
and one
crematorium
in Greenwich.
Opening Times
April to September
9am to 7pm daily.
October to March
9am to 4pm daily.
Including Christmas and the New Year.
Parking
There are no parking areas at any of the cemeteries except Eltham.
Children
Children under the age of 15 are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
Dogs
The only dogs that may be brought into the cemeteries are guide dogs.
Toilets
All of the cemeteries have toilets. At Charlton, Greenwich and Plumstead cemeteries, they are located near the main entrance. At Eltham cemetery they are located near the car park, and at Woolwich Cemetery near the Kings Highway entrance of the ‘old’ cemetery.
Facilities
You will find seats and rubbish bins located around the cemetery. Watering cans are available from the cemetery office.
