Greenwich has become a cutting-edge centre by offering a supportive and well-connected environment for R&D. It brings together leading researchers and gives companies access to the world's largest and most complete research clusters.

Training and facilities

Thames Gateway is home to many organisations which provide services for research and development. The University of Greenwich, Knowledge East, Think Big, and others, offer training, education, facilities and resources.

Financial help

Companies wishing to take advantage of our research and development opportunities may be eligible for R&D tax credits. For more information, see the Department for Trade and Industry (DTI) website.
