Greenwich borough has five official markets. The Council runs two of these, and three are privately run.

They are:

  • Beresford Square market (Woolwich):  A Council run market selling general goods. Contact 020 8921 5835 (24hrs).
  • Plumstead Road covered market (Woolwich): A Council run market selling general goods. Contact 020 8921 5835 (24hrs).
  • Burney Street market: A privately run market selling second-hand goods. Contact 020 7237 2001.
  • Greenwich market: A privately run market selling art and crafts. Contact 020 7515 7153.
  • Greenwich Village market: A privately run market selling a mix of antiques and collectibles, as well as general goods and organic vegetables and flowers. Contact 0208 858 0808.

How to apply to sell at a market

  • Council-run markets: Please contact Street Trading. Include your name, postal address and telephone number in all emails and we will respond to you within five working days.
  • Privately-run markets: If you want to enquire about running your own stall in a privately-run market, please contact them directly on the numbers given above.
