How to obtain a licence to sell fireworks

3. Send the completed form to us

for the postal address. You also need to send with the form a cheque (payable to ‘Greenwich Council’) for the appropriate application fee:
Licence renewal: £79
New licence: £144
Two year new licence: £216
Two year renewal: £131
All year registration: £500 (this is in addition to the licence or renewal fee)
4. What happens next?
We will send an officer to visit your premises. This officer will check that your premises are safe to store fireworks.
If we are satisfied that your site is safe, we will issue the licence.
Enforcement
Greenwich Trading Standards carry out rigorous enforcement of the law in the three week period prior to 5 November.
This includes carrying out under age test purchases, as it is an offence to sell a firework to anyone apparently under the age of 18 years.
