Auction premises licence
Any premises used for public auctions must be licensed by the Council.
The only exception to this is if the auction is a one-day charity event. In this case, you will need to provide proof of charity status.
How to obtain the licence
Please

. We will need to know more details about the premises that will be used for the auction.
You will need to pay a one-off application fee of £512.
We will process your application and issue your licence. We reserve the right to set out conditions in the licence, relating to matters such as public safety, fire prevention and lighting.
