Moving live animals

 
Since the last foot and mouth outbreak, there are stricter controls over moving live animals for commercial purposes (most commonly sheep, pigs and cows). You now need a licence to do this.

The Council does not carry out this service. Licences are issued by DEFRA (Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs).
