Road connections
Greenwich is unique in its location at the pivotal point between London and the South-East. The Blackwall Tunnel A102 and the A2 provide good access to the City and Central London. All major road routes to access or exit the Greenwich area follow the A206, which in turn leads onto the:
- A282/M25 / M1 to head north
- A220 / A2 / M2 to the Channel Tunnel (Folkestone), Dover, and Europe
- A282 / M25 / M11 up the eastern side of the UK
- A2 / A202 / A4 / M4 to Heathrow and the west of the country.
