Below are the contact details for suppliers and contractors in each of the departments within the Council:

Strategic Procurement Services

Responsible for developing procurement policies, co-ordinating council wide procurement for similar goods and services used across the council, and providing advice and guidance on procurement activities, and Council stores.

Directorate of Regeneration, Enterprise and Skills (DRES)

Construction planning, advice and design to and for the council, construction related contracts such as civic buildings and schools refurbishment and maintenance, road maintenance, street lighting, transportation strategies, provision of gas, water and electricity for the Council etc.

Neighbourhood Services

Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the Council’s housing stock, refuse collection, refuse collection, management of civic site, road cleansing, estate cleaning, public conveniences, graffiti removal, fly tipping, abandon vehicles removal, removal of litter in the streets, tenancy services, emergency accommodation, housing needs, adaptations, grants and housing advice etc.

Culture and Community Services

Responsible for the arts and film, civic and community centres, community and voluntary sector support, heritage centres, leisure and sport, libraries and information services, registrars services, maintenance of parks & playgrounds, school & civic catering, building and school cleaning, passenger services, meals on wheels fleet management etc.

Adult and Older People Services

Responsible for management and monitoring of Adult and Older People’s care and support services; for example care homes, domiciliary care, direct payments, laundry, extra care, and integrated community equipments.

Children and Young People Services

Responsible for management and monitoring of children and young people services and support services; for example family resource centres, adoption and fostering, residential homes, child protection services, children agency placement, child and adolescent services, youth offending services, promoting and extending inclusion, early years and child care, schools, schools youth and play etc.
