Benefits for pensioners
Are you, or is someone you know, aged 60 and over? Do you need advice about benefits?
You may be able to claim a range of benefits and concessions depending on your circumstances. For example, you may be entitled to Attendance Allowance if you are aged 65 or over and need regular help looking after yourself because of illness or disability. You may be entitled to pension credits if you are on a low income.
Make sure you claim
Many pensioners miss extra weekly income that they're entitled to, because they don't claim all their benefits. Make sure that you contact us to ask what your entitlements are.
Don't miss out
The Council is offering full benefit checks for all pensioners living in Greenwich borough. We can also help you with claims and home visits from the Pension Service if visits are needed.
Simply call our advice line for free advice.
Tel: 020 8921 6375
Textphone: 020 8921 5690
Lines are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
