How much will I get?

Allowance is paid for up to two weeks and is worth up to 90% of your earnings or £117.18 a week (whichever is less).

How do I claim?

You should let your employer know at least 15 weeks before the baby is due that you will be taking paternity leave.

You will also need to give your employer at least 28 days notice of when you want your Statutory Paternity Pay to start.
