New Deal schemes
New Deal is a government scheme that aims to give people on benefits the help they need to get back into work.
Specifically, the New Deal programme offers advice, support, training, job preparation and more.
Help finding work or training
Everyone on New Deal gets a personal adviser who is their point of contact throughout the programme.
There are different New Deal programmes for:
young people (aged 18 to 24)
people aged 25 or over
people who are 50 or over
disabled people
lone parents
partners of claimants.
