The Greenwich unit for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games aims to ensure that the organisations involved in the Games (both within and outside Greenwich) work together smoothly.
The Greenwich 2012 unit:
- co-ordinates activities within the Council and across the borough
- provides a main point of contact for the Olympic and Paralympic organisations and the local community
- develops plans to maximise the legacy from the 2012 Games.
